Hilton Cairns Hotel in stunning, immersive Virtual Reality.

Strap your VR headset on, click on the VR icon at the top of the screen then scroll down to the bottom of the picture and click the 2nd VR icon.  Once inside the virtual world, focus on the nav arrows for 3 seconds to walk between scenes, focus on the spinning balls to open new scenes, look just below the centre of horizon for the ‘Home’ button and focus on that for 3 seconds for the home screen.

Take a walk all around the hotel in this 360 degree virtual world including:

  • 6 different hotel room types – bedrooms, balconies and all points between
  • Reception, cocktail bar, breakfast restaurant on dawn
  • Executive lounge with stunning Cairns sunset views
  • Conference & function rooms
  • Resort style pool & gymnasium
  • Chapel & lawn wedding
  • Mondo Cafe and Cairns Esplanade boardwalk
  • Stroll through Fogarty Park at night and so much more …

So you’re on a desktop computer and want to test it out?  Sure.  Click on the little VR Goggles on the 360 image above and then click on the Fullscreen icon at bottom right of the virtual tour and then use your mouse to align the crosshair with a spinning menu ball or white arrows scene links.  Looks sort of like that on a iPhone or Samsung s6 or s7 using a VR Headset only about a million times more immersive and instead of using a mouse to move around you will be moving your whole body and head as if you are standing right there – honestly this technology is at a stage where it is so life like that if you are standing on an edge looking down through your VR Goggles you will experience vertigo!
